Getting Here
MALAGA AIRPORT TO LANJARON
When you first leave the airport go straight over the first roundabout following the Malaga city sign…
You are heading east towards Almeria/Motril on the 340/E15
Continue along this road which takes you along the coast on a good motorway until you nearly reach Almaneca. Now you are off the motorway and are following the same 340 coast road until you pass Salobrena (a pretty white village with a castle on the top). Take the next exit which is for Granada the 323/E902. You are heading up towards the mountains, keep going until you see the Lanjaron sign. Follow this twisty road all the way to the village.
When you hit the village of Lanjaron keep going, until you get to a little mini roundabout go right following the sign towards Orgiva. This is the Lanjaron by pass, you are heading towards the lower part of the village you will see a petrol station on the left (there is only one petrol station in the town). If you can give me a phone call from here I will come and meet you. If you don’t have a mobile, there is a phone box just before the garage on the right hand side.
GRANADA AIRPORT TO LANJARON
The airport is actually at Santa Fe and the easiest and quickest way is to avoid Granada by cutting across country.
So leave the airport and take the first slip road off heading towards Granada/Santa Fe, keeping close into the right hand lane, this is like a slip road, do not go onto the motorway. The first turning on the right is sign posted Malaha take this road following the Malaha signs. At the Malaha roundabout keep going straight over following the same road number until you reach a large junction where you will take the road towards Motril. This is the main motorway follow until you see the Lanjaron sign. When you reach the village take the by pass which is signposted towards Orgiva. You are heading towards the bottom end of town look out for the Repsol petrol station which will be on your left. We only have one petrol station in town, this is where I will meet you. Either call on route say as you leave the motorway and I can be there for your arrival or phone when you get there and it will take me about 10 mins to get to you.
